Tessa – facilitator and co-founder of Recall & Resist, a collective of queer East and Southeast Asian organisers discovering and working towards migrant solidarity, group organising and abolition. They are also a teaching assistant in a key faculty, the place they value the honest conversations they get to have with younger people about consent, boundaries and friendship. Outside the house of all that, Tessa’s passions include things like karaoke, hillwalking and transformative justice.

Neelam (she/her) – a Tedx Speaker who started Cysters: a charity focused to reproductive wellbeing, following facing her individual battles close to prognosis and treatment and seeking to tackle the health inequalities confronted by those from communities of color and the LGBT neighborhood. Most a short while ago, the organisation have transformed their name to come to be inclusive of trans communities by eliminating the word female. Neelam’s operate has been recognised by Delight of Britain and Level of Mild award from the Prime Minister.

Ammaarah (she/her) – an educator with a qualifications in gender-centered violence and doing work with young persons. The bulk of her work has been with Black and minoritised survivors of violence. She is also a freelance writer and speaker, with a certain focus on the experiences of marginalised communities. In her free of charge time, Ammaarah can often be discovered with a flat white in hand and nose deep in a superior guide.

Tasha (she/her) – an educator and artistic facilitator whose workshops centre on empowering younger men and women to produce the self-information and self-well worth to build constructive connections with themselves and other individuals. She loves discovering from young people, dismantling the traditional electrical power dynamics of the classroom and is deeply inspired by queer black feminist significant pedagogy. This also informs her training at the University of Sussex, exactly where she facilitates programs on youth-centered exercise and re-thinking mainstream education. She loves to dance, cycle and swim, and thinks in the electric power of listening to our bodies.
Our facilitators will assistance us to provide excellent RSE workshops to younger men and women all over the British isles. We’re so grateful that they have joined the SB bunch!
